Amenities: Filtered Water, Porta Potties, Wash Stations, Late Night Acoustic Music, Close Neighbors and a tight knit community.
Regulations: No Campfires. No Barbecues. No Glass. No Dogs (service dogs ok). You are welcome to make your bed in the Ski Bowl Parking lot, but it must be inside a self contained vehicle that takes only one parking space. I.e. Vans, trucks with camper shells and dirty Subarus. No vehicles will be allowed in the Ski Bowl and Tent camping area. RV’s, Trailers and anything that takes more than one parking space should seek off-site camping.
Off-Site Camping and Lodging
For folks who appreciate a quieter camping experience with hot showers, we recommend a campsite at Plumas-Eureka State Park’s campground. The campground is about one mile from the concert venue. In the event that the Johnsville Ski Bowl Parking lot is full, we will run an on-call shuttle van between off-site camping and the Hoedown.
Camping at the Plumas Eureka State Park campground is separate from the Ski Bowl and not included in our $100 ticket.
THE LODGE AT NAKOMA Discover your perfect escape at the new 42-room Lodge at Nakoma. Its clean, mountain-modern aesthetic offers complete comfort. Floor to ceiling windows invite in the serene forest and the glow of the setting sun.
