FAQs

What’s a Hoedown?

The term Hoedown pertains to the idea of a community dancing party accompanied by lively fiddle music. The Lost Sierra Hoedown will be that, and much more.

Is the Lost Sierra Hoedown a fundraiser?

Thanks to generous donations from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. all beer sales are donated to Plumas Ski Club, Eastern Plumas Recreation District and Plumas-Eureka State Park Assocation.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry folks, no dogs allowed.

What about kids?

Children 12 and under are FREE. We are lining up all kinds of awesome daytime activities that everyone will enjoy. If the Hoedown might be too lively into the night for your family, we recommend off-site camping/lodging.

Will the event be accessible for those with disabilities?

Yes! Please contact us at info@lostsierrahoedown.com prior to the event, and we will make sure you have full access.

Can my band play at the Lost Sierra Hoedown?

Our lineup is FULL for 2017. But, all musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments for acoustic jam sessions.

Can I Volunteer?

Yes, we are assembling an all star ensemble of volunteers to help make the Lost Sierra Hoedown a success. We will begin accepting volunteer application in early August! Visit our Volunteer Page for more info.
