New registrations for volunteers are now closed for this year’s Lost Sierra Hoedown. It’s going to be an event that your friends will be talking about for a long time. You should probably just go buy a ticket now, before they sell out.

We’re looking for folks who are eager and willing to join our team and help make the Lost Sierra Hoedown fun, organized and sustainable. There are many positions available, so grab a friend and get involved. We need help welcoming and greeting Hoedowners, checking in artists, teaching and inspiring sustainable camping, driving the passenger and gear shuttles and much more.

Volunteer Requirements

• To score yourself an all access ticket to the Lost Sierra Hoedown, you just need to work three 4-hour shifts.

• To create a smoother experience for all volunteers, volunteers must submit a deposit to the Lost Sierra Hoedown. The $100 deposit ensures that more volunteers will actually show up and complete their shifts, so all of us can scramble a little bit less and enjoy the Hoedown a little bit more. We’ll email a payment link as soon as we have placed you with a crew, which should be within 2 weeks of application.

• Volunteers that successfully complete their shifts will have a $ 90 refund processed via Square within 14 days of the end of the Hoedown. A $10 volunteer processing fee will be retained to handle Square fees, etc.

Please fill out our volunteer form, so we can do our best to match your needs, skills and timing. Be prepared to help in any and all areas to make this boot stompin’ event run as smooth as possible. Your volunteer schedule will be confirmed via email on or before Sept. 12.

Check your e-mail. All volunteers that submitted their deposits have been scheduled and those were sent out late on Wednesday 9/13.
