Plumas Eureka State Park is located in Plumas County just outside Graeagle in Northeastern California, approximately 45 minutes North of Truckee or 1 hour Northwest of Reno, NV and 35 minutes from Quincy in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Please carpool to the Hoedown and drive safely! Especially at night, watch out for deer, cattle, bears and other miscellaneous wildlife on these rural roads!
How To Get To The Park:
Directions from the San Francisco/Bay Area: Drive East on Interstate Highway 80 to Truckee. From Truckee, drive North on Highway 89 to Graeagle. Once in Graeagle, turn left on Country Road A-14 (Johnsville Road). Follow this road approximately 5 miles to the Plumas Eureka State Park entrance. Directions from the Reno, NV area: Drive North on Highway 395 to the Hallelujah Junction turn-off (Highway 70). Drive West on Highway 70 to the junction of Highway 89. Turn left onto Highway 89, drive approximately 2 miles to County Road A-14 (Johnsville Road), turn right. Follow this road approximately 5 miles to the Plumas Eureka State Park entrance.
Directions From Chico/Quincy:
Take highway 70 east then turn right on Highway 89. Follow 89 to County Road A-14. Follow this road approximately 5 miles to the Plumas Eureka State Park entrance.
